Saemidori means clear green, and the name is doing honest work. Grown in the volcanic soil of Kirishima, it arrives two weeks earlier than the Uji harvest and carries a sweetness that needs no adjustment.
This is the tea we hand people who think they dislike matcha. It is forgiving at temperature and almost impossible to make bitter.
Whisk 2g with 75ml of water at 70°C. It takes milk well but does not need it.
